Camerastab or the D1 judge portal. - Continue recording in manual device mode when remote control is unavailable.
- Record locally before upload so routines can continue through an internet interruption.
- Retry queued device uploads locally or with
Upload pendingfrom the competition dashboard.

- Play videos from the library and matching scoring workflow.
- Prepare MP4 downloads on demand.
- Refresh an uploaded or processing video directly from its provider status.
- Delete a video and its associated provider asset with confirmation.
Privacy and spectator access
- New videos default to staff-only playback.
- Organisers can allow public routine videos for a competition and override access by session.
- Ready videos can be published manually after consent confirmation or automatically when configured.
- Published videos appear beside matching scores on the public leaderboard.
- Unpublishing immediately returns a video to staff-only playback.
Reliability and recovery
- Foreground camera devices send regular heartbeats and disconnected devices become offline.
- Duplicate commands and concurrent upload creation are suppressed server-side.
Reset stateclears a stuck camera without deleting recordings.Run recovery cleanupexpires stale operational data and safely processes expired videos.- Scheduled maintenance handles stale cameras, expired commands, pairing codes, and video retention.
Retention
Routine video retention is controlled by the tenant plan and recorded when the video is created. The competition library displays the expiry date and warning period so staff can download required footage before removal.
Known operational considerations
- Camera recording requires a physical device.
- The mobile app must remain in the foreground for live control and heartbeat updates.
- A dashboard upload request still requires the paired phone to be online because the source file is stored locally.
- Video-provider account limits can block new upload URLs until capacity is available.
- MP4 preparation may finish after streaming playback becomes ready.
