Salto documentation

Welcome to the Salto Gymnastics Platform documentation.

These guides are written for club admins, competition managers, coaches, judges, and volunteers using Salto day to day. The instructions use the labels currently shown in the app, such as Settings, Clubs, Gymnasts, Sessions, Judges, Enter Scores, Scoreboards, Leaderboard, and Live Feed.

  1. Create the competition from Competitions with New Competition.
  2. Open the competition Settings tab and confirm rules: disciplines, public visibility, tie breaking, auto rotation, vault defaults, and level testing.
  3. Add participating clubs in Clubs.
  4. Import or add gymnasts in Gymnasts.
  5. Set up teams in Teams if team awards are needed.
  6. Create sessions in Sessions, including levels, divisions, award placings, and any session-specific two-vault rules.
  7. Add judges and panels in Judges.
  8. Activate the competition, then use Enter Scores, Scoreboards, Leaderboard, and Live Feed on competition day.

Disciplines and apparatus​

Salto supports MAG, WAG, or mixed MAG/WAG competitions.

  • MAG apparatus: Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, High Bar.
  • WAG apparatus: Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, Floor.

Mixed competitions show discipline controls in settings, sessions, judging panels, and leaderboards so MAG and WAG rules can be configured separately where needed.
